Robert is an experienced local councillor who served as vice-Chairman of the Regulatory Committee of the Richmond on Thames Council for nearly a decade. On leaving the Council in 2026 he set up the Oak & Hawk advisory service.

Since graduating from Bradford University, he has built on his experience as a Cost Engineer in several international organisations where his skills in problem solving in both finance and engineering sectors were put to effective use. His attention to detail was recognised by his colleagues and at Richmond both by his fellow councillors dealing with regulatory affairs and council staff.

Robert has wide experience of handling licensing applications having made decisions on over a hundred applications ranging from simple local off-licensing to complex applications from internationally recognise institutions such as the Rugby Football Union's Twickenham Stadium.

Robert lives in the Richmond area with his young family and is well-placed to provide his services across Greater London.
